CAPTAINS PRIZE WEEKEND 2025

We’re looking forward to welcoming you this weekend for what promises to be a memorable and historic Captain’s Prize event!

Tee times for Saturday are now available, with Sunday slots opening on July 8th.

Lisa will be preparing the course and pin placements, and she’s also organised some fantastic prizes—details listed below.

Food and refreshments will be available throughout the weekend, and Neil will be firing up the BBQ from 4pm on Sunday out on the terrace. Also, we will have Coreys Corner open for food and refreshments so please bring some cash out with you on the course.

At approximately 6:30pm on Sunday, we’ll be hosting the Captain’s Chipping Competition. Entry is just £2, and it’s a knockout “chip-off” format with the worst shots eliminated each round until we reach a final showdown—best of three—between the last two players. The competition will take place on the 18th green from a designated tee just in front of the veranda.

We expect the prize presentation to take place between 7:00 and 7:30pm. Everyone is welcome—bring your family and friends along to enjoy the festivities!

P.S - You must have a registered club handicap to play in the Captains Prize, this year the maximum handicap will be 24 for the men, so if you have a 28 handicap you will be given 24 on the card.
