Week Ahead Overview
A relatively steady start to the week builds into a very busy Friday and Saturday, with society golf, catering and private functions running alongside normal club operations. Thursday sees the Ladies 1st Team host Newport, while the weekend includes a large Morriston Golf Club society visit and concludes with the Fred Clissett Cup and Sunday Lunch.
Good communication between the Bar, West Wing, Golf Operations and Administration will be particularly important from Thursday onwards.
MONDAY 7 SEPTEMBER

Management Priorities This Week
Golf Operations
Deliver the Seniors Competition, Ladies 4 Club Competition and Fred Clissett Cup to a high standard.
Ensure excellent hosting for the Ladies 1st Team match and both visiting golf societies.
Hospitality & Events
The main operational pressure falls on Friday and Saturday. Multiple events require careful room planning,
catering coordination and efficient turnarounds.
Facilities & Presentation
Maintain high standards across the clubhouse, bar, West Wing, terrace and external areas, with particular
focus on Friday and Saturday.
Customer Experience
Ensure members, visiting golfers, families and private function guests all receive a friendly,
professional Brynhill welcome.
Key Watch-Outs
Monday: West Wing is closed. Please ensure members are aware where appropriate.
Thursday: Ladies 1st Team match followed by a late 9:00pm team meal.
Friday: Society golf, private wake, society meal and private party all on the same day.
Careful room turnaround and coordination required.
Saturday: 39-player Morriston society followed by catering for 39 and then a 70-person
private meal at 6:30pm. This is likely to be the busiest hospitality day of the week.
Sunday: Ensure the clubhouse is fully reset following Saturday evening before the
Fred Clissett Cup and Sunday Lunch.
